SS515, Extra Wide Trestle Dining Table Legs, 1 Pair

In the end, it does the job and looks OK, but there were a couple of annoyances;
The welding accuracy isn't great... the top plate ends up slightly bowed so it needed packers between it and the underside of the table in order to take up the gaps. The U-bracket for the cross-brace beam was parallel one end, but wedge shaped on the other, so getting the beam to sit secure and true needed a little bit of work.
Also, the amount of (I think) unbaked powder coat (or possibly filings) left inside the legs was substantial. Despite trying to tip them out, shake them out and hoover them out, I am still finding more every time I move the table. And if you're not careful how you pick them up, they stain the floor
